After years of poor maintenance, an extensive project for Lostock Hall Academy was required, including the reconstructing of macadam courts, installing new athletics facilities, and additional landscaping.
Sportex replaced the existing surface with a modern sand-dressed synthetic turf “Gen2” compliant MUGA and constructed an acrylic-coated macadam court. The new athletics features included a six-lane sprint straight and a long jump pit. Landscaping works involved creating a plaza area and a garden area.
The entire MUGA perimeter was enclosed with a new rolled welded mesh fencing system, and new sports equipment was erected. Additionally, we installed the new athletic sprint straight and jump pits, as well as performed external landscaping and surfacing works.
